Escape from Pompeii
This term our topic in Apricot Class is 'Escape from Pompeii'.
During the topic, we will be learning about volcanoes, how they are formed, different types and we will even be making our own volcanoes.
We will also be learning about the Romans as part of this topic. We will be finding out about Roman invasions of Britain, Roman armies and inventions as well as Boudicca's rebellion.
Our science units this term are 'Rocks and Soils' and 'Animals including humans'.
Our Superstar this week is Sonny. Our Headteacher Superstar is Connie. Well done!
This half term Apricot class will be doing P.E on Thursdays and Fridays. Please ensure the children have their P.E kits in school. Long hair will need to be tied back and earrings taken out.
